Drawing on my previous experience as a youth pastor, I enjoy working with children, teenagers, young adults, couples, and families. I am certified in Play Therapy and work with children, adolescents and adults. I have also been trained in EMDR Therapy and work with those who have suffered grief, trauma or distress.
As a play therapist, I have worked extensively with children who are struggling with ADHD and trauma. The challenge of parenting sparks my interest and I enjoy using humor, emotion coaching, and intergenerational systemic family theories to illuminate and strengthen the resources that parents already have to offer.
I hold to the belief that the solution to any presenting problem can be found by viewing obstacles as opportunities for repair. In addition, my faith allows me to see with compassion and grants me a holistic perspective that encourages my clients toward spiritual AND emotional health. I look forward to meeting with you as you embark on this journey.
